Turn Passive Speakers into Bluetooth Speakers: D10 Amp Board
Good passive speakers do not have to become e-waste
Many useful speakers are set aside because they no longer match the way people listen. They may sound good, but they need an amplifier, a source, and a convenient place in the room. Replacing the speakers is one option. Adding a compact amplifier board is another.
The WOOPKER D10 amplifier board is designed for compact speaker projects and DIY audio builds. It adds Bluetooth and AUX playback in a board format that can be installed inside a suitable enclosure or integrated into a small sound system.

The main advantage is flexibility. A Bluetooth speaker system normally requires a complete cabinet, amplifier, power section, and controls. The D10 separates the amplification and wireless input stage so it can be used in a project that already has a suitable speaker cabinet and a safe place for the electronics.
Check the speaker before choosing the board
- The speakers must be passive. A speaker with a built-in amplifier, battery, or powered input does not need another amplifier board.
- The D10 is listed for speaker systems of approximately 30W to 120W. Match the board and power supply to the actual load instead of assuming that a higher printed wattage guarantees more clean output.
- Confirm the impedance and power rating of the speaker you plan to use. If the speaker information is missing, test with a known compatible load before building the final enclosure.
- Use the power source specified for the exact D10 version you own. Do not assume that a similar-looking adapter or voltage is correct.
Plan the enclosure and wiring
A successful DIY build is mostly about planning. The board should sit on insulated standoffs, remain protected from shorts, and have enough ventilation to dissipate heat. Keep mains wiring separated from low-level audio wiring, and use strain relief so that a pulled cable cannot move the board or touch exposed contacts.
- Disconnect power before drilling, cutting, or changing any connection.
- Plan the layout for the board, speaker terminals, power inlet, ventilation, and input access.
- Keep speaker wire runs short and tidy. Match positive and negative consistently.
- Keep the electronics isolated from the cabinet structure and secure all cables.
- Test at low volume with one known-good source before closing the enclosure.
If the project involves mains voltage, a metal enclosure, or wiring you cannot inspect safely, ask a qualified technician to complete that part of the build. An exposed board should not be used as a finished product.

Pairing and everyday use
After the board is powered and connected to the speakers, switch to Bluetooth mode and pair the source device. Keep the source close during the first test, start with the volume low, and raise it only after confirming that both speakers are working normally.
Use AUX when you want a fixed wired source, such as a computer, television, or media player. Bluetooth is better for casual phone and tablet listening. If the sound is distorted, reduce the source volume before increasing the system volume.
Who is the D10 for?
The D10 is a good fit for hobbyists, repair projects, compact workshop speakers, and custom builds where the electronics can be installed safely. It is not a plug-and-play replacement for every powered speaker, and it should not be treated as a complete appliance without a suitable enclosure and power design.
